Trevor to interview Barack Obama

As the unprecedented US election year comes to an end, Daily Show host Trevor Noah is prepping his lines for his biggest guest yet: President Barack Obama. Noah’s in-depth interview of President Obama will take place at The White House. President Obama’s first appearance on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” will be broadcast across Africa on Comedy Central, (DStv Channel 122) on Tuesday 13 December at 21:00 CAT.

Throughout this remarkable election cycle Noah has interviewed notable political figures including former President Bill Clinton (15 September 2016), who received the gift of a balloon drop courtesy of Noah, as well as Republican presidential candidates: Dr. Ben Carson (19 April 2016), who entered into a debate with Noah’s alter ego, Dr. Ken Carson; Senator Lindsay Graham (23 March 2016), who shot pool with Noah; Senator Rand Paul (13 January 2016), who debated with Trevor over glasses of Kentucky bourbon; and Governor Chris Christie (30 September 2015), who appeared during Noah’s first week as host.

Further guests this week on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”, include journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates (Wednesday 14 December), “Assasins Creed” actor Michael K. Williams (Thursday 15 December) and Rod Corddry from “Office Christmas Party” (Friday 16 December).
